Ingredient in Man's Pain
Why do Anticipation and Gullibility go hand in hand?
If you put these things together, they can make a fool out of a man
They pick up his pride and smack it down into the ground
Then he slowly picks it back up without making a sound
Not a sound has been made as he goes about his day keeping the same pace
It hurts him to hide the pain… but it hurts worst to show it on his face
His mind won’t let him do it
His mind says “We’ll get through it”
His appearance is smooth, while his heart is in ruins
He knows how to make all the pain inside him go away
All of her attention given tp him for only 1 day
It’s all that he needs
In order to succeed
But the only attention that he’s ever going to receive
Is from Anticipation
